#ShopNorthEast Review - The Truffle Sphere

Who doesn't love a good bit of chocolate? Better still, CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES! Whether it's an occasional treat or an indulgent pig out, chocolate truffles go down well in this house, at any time.

We were sent a mixed box of truffles from The Truffle Sphere, a brand new business based in Newcastle, producing and selling bespoke, homemade chocolate truffles in a myriad of tempting flavours. We sampled the Nutella, Biscoff and dark chocolate truffles.

It's safe to say that they were all popular with the 3 boys, who all wanted more (boys and chocolate, say no more). My personal favourite was the Biscoff. I wasn't 100% sure how this was going to work in terms of flavour, as I thought there might be too much chocolate involved, but I was wrong. While the truffle retained it's classic texture, the flavour of the Biscoff was just right, noticeable, but not overpowering. Very enjoyable.

The Nutella truffle, coated in crushed hazelnuts, also had just the right flavour and texture, with a good balance between the, clearly high quality, chocolate and the hazelnuts.

The dark chocolate truffle was a little bitter, but then a high quality dark chocolate should be just that.

It's clear from the taste, texture and presentation of these truffles, that owner and creator Aanisah, puts plenty of care and attention into creating these amazing treats.
