We recently put together a cheap/free what's on Summer guide elsewhere in the Northeast and the post proved really popular, so we decided to do a Newcastle/North Tyneside version. I can't believe how much is on for kids this year. Its lovely to see everyone out enjoying themselves again. Click on the BLUE links to find out more and to book

Discovery Museum

The museum is free to enter and there's lots to see.

Holiday Activity Fund

Fun summer activities across Newcastle. To find out where your nearest centre is click HERE

Free for anyone in receipt of free school meals ages 4-16 years just some of the centres taking part include:

Newcastle City Library

As part of the Reading Challenge this year libraries across the North East have various activities taking place. Call into your local library to find out more.

🌞Every Wednesdays 1pm - 2pm, Curious challengers- creative session based around a different theme each week including building Lego, making slime.

🌞Monday 15August 1pm - 2pm, Gadgeteering- explore toys and gadgets from the past

Ouseburn Farm

Free Entry to the farm although donations are very much appreciated.

There is a small fee for each event which you can find on the booking page.

Centre For Life

I know this is a bit more expensive but it is worth it. Pay once, you can then visit again another twice. Which works out fantastic because there's loads to do. However a family ticket for 5 people will set you back £40 and the free visits need to be used by the 4th Sept.
