October Half Term | What's On Guide

It is almost October and half term will be here in no time so lets get planning!

Half term this year finally takes in Halloween! This Halloween guide is based on dates from 25th October- 2nd November. For alternative what's on ideas head to our Facebook page where I pin a weekly what's on.

I absolutely love Autumn and spooky season and there's some fantastic events on this year.

What's on

🎃Psycho-path

Returns to Lintz Hall for 2025 it is the UKs Biggest Scream park so if this is your kind of thing or you are looking for a good scare, get yourself here. But be quick because tickets sell out quickly

And it looks bigger and better than ever! With even more frights waiting for you it is bound to put a tingle in your spine. Check out all the info you will need HERE before deciding to book. Please note this event is not suitable for kids and anyone u13 will not be allowed entry. All others must be accompanied by adults at all times whilst on site.

For younger kids check out Fright fest which is also making its return. Always a very popular event with lots to do.

🎃Monk Park Farm - Pumpkin Festival

This is becoming one of our favourite farms to visit. Perfect for all ages and this year they have a Pumpkin fest!

Open from 4th October throughout Half term.

🎃The Wizard Walk Of York

If you are looking for some magical fun this Half Term than The Wizard Walk Of York should definitely be on your to do list! We did the walk last year and had lots of fun. Dates throughout October

🎃Hallow-tween - York Maze

Always a very popular attraction/event. This one is perfect for ages 10-15 (They also have Hallow-scream for older kids and adults) From 25th October

🎃Jorvik Viking Centre

Always a fantastic way to kill a few hours, its spooky to start with but this year you can enjoy The Dark Saga Tours - 30th-31st Oct

🎃The Hole in Wand - Various locations

We absolutely love the Hole in one brand. We have been to a few so far and will be heading to a VIP event this week to celebrate the brand new attraction in Leeds!

🎃Ghosts in the garden - York

We visited yesterday and honestly it is a brilliant event. Budget friendly day spent wondering around a gorgeous spooky city. What's not to love? Running now and throughout October. Also a separate night time event that you do need to book.

🎃Ford and Etal's Famous Scarycrow trail is back! We do this every year and absolutely love it. We have been visiting since the boys were tiny and we lived in Scotland. It is a fantastic day out. From 27th October

🎃Pumpkin Picking at Spilman's Farm

This has become a very popular event throughout the North of England in my opinion. It gets bigger and better every year and we love visiting.
