My Spooktacular 10 Halloween events 2018.

Updated: Apr 25, 2020

It is my favourite time of year again, HALLOWEEN.

We love this time of year and this year sees so many fang-tastic events happening all over Scotland,The North East & Yorkshire.

Here are my top ten for this year.

North East

1

Beamish open air Museum

Halloween
Beamish Open Air Museum

Beamish open air museum is always a must for us. We have visited many times and taken part in the Halloween fun for the last 3 years. With so much going on it's great value for money and the adults can dress up too!! WIN WIN!

Halloween Evenings at Beamish Museum are sure to give you a Halloween fright night you’ll never forget. With The Town, Pit Village, Colliery Yard, Pockerley Old Hall and Wagon way swamped with petrifying creatures, only the brave will dare to knock on the doors to trick or treat…

2

Belsay hall and gardens

Halloween
Belsay Hall & Gardens

We love Belsay and used to visit quite a lot when we lived in the North East. We have made many memories walking through the gorgeous gardens with its abundance of flowers, making our way to the castle.

Hear spooky stories of monsters and devils, and even join in the performances.

Frightening fancy dress is encouraged!

3

Alnwick Castle

Halloween dragon quest
Alnwick Castle

So much to do at Alnwick castle throughout the year, I have to add that my favourite part is the poison garden, so fascinating! Dress up as a knight and attempt to defeat the dragon, or take up a broomstick lesson.

The Company of Artisans: 22nd - 28th October
