Ad - We recently headed to Pennine Lodge Alpacas and had a fantastic morning.
Set in the most idyllic Weardale countryside, it is a gorgeous experience for everyone to enjoy.
Once parked up we headed over to meet the alpacas (and hosts) and you get to choose your favourite to walk and then set out on a lovely walk around the property. Part of the walk is the old railway line that used to take you into Sunderland! On your walk you may also be joined by some friendly chickens on your wander.
The hosts, Sophie and Joe are superb, full of knowledge and clearly passionate about what they do. I love talking to people and I am quite nosey so when I hear an accent I need to know more. Such lovely people and you are in good hands.
You also get to give the alpacas some treats after your walk. Elliot was unsure about this part because he has previously walked Alpacas and had carrot blown in his face! Honestly they were absolutely fine and the most gentle and friendliest we have encountered yet. I am really excited to get my hands on some wool because it is so soft.
If you love animals then we highly recommend booking this experience for all to enjoy.
This experience is an amazing bargain, specially when you use this discount.
