Christmas at National Properties North East



We Love visiting National Trust properties and Christmas time is just another level. Seeing all of the historic buildings decorated for the festive season is just the best. We do have our favourites, but this year we are planning on getting to most properties for the festivities. Keep an eye out on our socials for photos.

Decorated house

This year the house is decorated in the panto theme, Oh Yes It Is..... again.

 It was stunning last year and although we have already seen the decor we will still be going to have a look.

Christmas throughout the years - Enjoy the house decorated with each room a different theme from Tudor, Victorian, 80s and more. Running until 17th December

On Sundays a local choir will be singing some festive tunes




Treasurers House

Gifts from afar - The stories from Frank Greens journal are brought to life. Lots of the decorations are hand made y the lovely volunteers. Included in admission running until 17th December.


Spot the stag trail - The Green Family crset is a stag, can you find the hidden stags around the house? Included in admission
