
Our kids, like most, love a good old fashioned Easter Egg hunt. This year, there are plenty to choose from around the North East and there is always the option of hosting your own at home, like we do every year.
National Trust have quite a few planned, but there are a few others to choose from too. Read on to find out more.

National Trust Easter Egg Hunts.
Hunts are taking place at various trust venues around the region. These are charged at £3 per person taking part. This is in addition to any entry fees. All venues are free entry for trust members, like us.
Start off your Easter adventures in nature by picking up your trail activity sheet and pencil.
Complete the 10 nature-inspired activities. Hopping like an Easter bunny, making a home for wildlife, or peeking into veg patches are just some of the different experiences you could enjoy.
Once you've finished the trail collect your delicious chocolate egg.
You can visit as many places as you like to experience a new adventure every time.

WWT Washington - Easter Duck Trail - 15 - 18 April
Pick up a trail card and keep a note of the Easter ducks, hiding around the wetlands.
No charge for the trail. Normal admission charges apply. No booking required.
Cramlington Easter Egg Hunt 11 - 24 April
The Cramlington Easter Treasure Hunt is a walk of about 4Km around Cramlington, which will take you around 2 hours to complete. It will be great fun for children and adults alike and there is a Treasure Chest full of Easter Eggs to be won. All funds raised are in aid of the Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project.
Raby Castle - Easter Trail - 9 - 24 April
Free to take part in. Normal admission charges apply. No booking required.
Preston Park Museum - Easter Trail 9 - 24 April
Hop along to Preston Park Museum this half term for lots of Easter fun, including a trail, crafts and storytelling.
Take part in their Easter trail and find the ten giant eggs hidden around the museum and garden. Pick up your trail sheet when you arrive at the Museum Welcome Desk.

Adventure Valley - Easter Egg-stravagnaza 9 - 24 April
Easter Egg-Stravaganza is back at Adventure Valley this Easter Holidays!
Hop, hop, hop, like a bunny down to the spectacular undercover Easter Garden and even meet the Easter Bunny himself!
